  • NAMI Washington CLASSES

    • NAMI Family-to-Family
      nami.org/f2f An education program specifically for family members and friends of adults who live with mental illness. Open to adult (18+) family members and friends of people who live with mental illness. Family-to-Family is free and Meets for 12 sessions. Taught by trained family members of people living with mental illness. You will get practical, up-to-date information about mental health, understand the latest treatment options, discover problem solving techniques, coping strategies and communication skills, and find community support in a confidential setting. You will also learn how to advocate for your family through the metal health system.

    • NAMI Peer-to-Peer
      A 10-week recovery education course open to any adult with a serious mental illness. Peer-to-Peer emphasizes recovery from mental illness as a feasible, supportable goal and challenges the stigma associated with mental illness.

    • NAMI Basics
      A six-week course developed specifically for parents and other family caregivers of children and adolescents who have either been diagnosed with a serious mental illness/serious emotional disturbance of who are experiencing symptoms but have not yet been diagnosed.

    • NAMI Homefront
      A 6-week course for families, caregivers and friends of active duty military members and veterans with mental health conditions. Based on the national recognized NAMI Family-to-Family program, NAMI Homefront is designed to address the unique needs of family, caregivers and friends of those who have served or are currently serving our country.
