What is True Hope Community Church?
We are a church for and by families of drug addicts, addicts and their loved ones. So often the church has been a place of rejection for those dealing with drug addiction—whether the family of the addicts or the addicts themselves. True Hope Community Church is a safe place to find acceptance, receive support, and explore God without judgment.
Who is this for?
Parents, siblings & friends of addicts. We are here to support you! We are a church for all ages. After the morning service, we'll have support groups following the service appropriate for youth 16 and up. Childcare available upon request for younger siblings.
Addicts. Whether you're clean and sober, entering recovery or far from it, this place is for you.
Support groups: For addicts and families of addicts. There's a group for everyone.
How do I attend?

What is Semper Vita?
Semper Vita is a Christian nonprofit dedicated to helping people experience hope, love and support through the challenges of life. Our specific focus is drug addiction and providing support to the addicts and their families. We also help people find meaningful ways to volunteer and connect in the community.
What is Semper Vita's mission?
To provide hope and support through life in community. Specifically, we seek to always provide a safe and welcoming place that focuses on hope, love and support for families of drug addicts, addicts and their loved ones.
When did Semper Vita get started?
Semper Vita originated as the result of a Fuller class assignment in October 2006. Two Semper Vita-related blogs were started soon thereafter in January 2007. Since that time, a team of people have been working together to make the Semper Vita vision a reality. It was officially incorporated as a nonprofit in December 2007, and we received our nonprofit status in November 2008.
Semper Vita was officially launched in March 2010 at the Northwest Ministry Conference in Redmond, Washington. In 2016, it was reorganized to focus on families of addicts, addicts and their loved ones.
Who started Semper Vita?
Henriët Schapelhouman, executive director and founder, began Semper Vita as a result of a compelling vision while attending Fuller Theological Seminary.
What does "Semper Vita" mean?
"Semper Vita" means "always life" in Latin.
